Is BEAUTYPRO Cruelty Free?

Can I recycle BEAUTYPRO products?

We’re always working hard to make our products as planet friendly as possible.

Sheet masks

Our sheet masks are created with either bamboo fibres or spun lace, derived from cotton. Both of these materials are biodegradable and will decompose in under 3 months. 

The majority of our sheet mask packaging is now 100% Biodegradable - which means you can dispose of it in your home compost, recycling or general waste.


Serums

All of our serums are packaged in FSC Approved card printed with vegetable ink and a reusable or recyclable glass bottle. Separate the pump from the glass bottle and remove the spring from inside. The pump and the glass bottle can then both be recycled at home.

Can I buy BEAUTYPRO on the high street?

Yes you can! We are stocked in a range of retailers, spas and salons around the country. You can find us in Sainsburys, Next, Boots, Superdrug both online and in store.

Currently, on our website we only ship nationwide within the UK and are unable to deliver to Europe and the rest of the world. We apologise for any inconvenience.

We are stocked in a number of retailers across the world. This spans from online retailers, superstores, salons, spas and independent businesses.

BIODEGRADABLE PRODUCTS

Can I still put the packaging in my normal household bin?

Yes - or better yet, recycle it! This plastic sachet can be recycled in your household recycling bin, however if it is not recycled, rather than sitting on a landfill site for years, it will begin the process of biodegradation. We always encourage recycling where possible, but this new sachet means that if it doesn’t make it into the recycling bin, then at least we know that it won’t be leaving plastic waste behind.

How long does the packaging take to biodegrade?

The shelf life of this mask is over 36 months. The pouch has been programmed so it will only start to biodegrade after it is opened and the air hits the inside of the pouch. After a shelf life of 3 years, we then expect it to take a further 2 years to biodegrade. A total of 5 years, 1% of the time it takes for normal plastic to biodegrade!

Have the formulations changed?

Yes and no! The RETINOL Facial Sheet Mask remains the same formula you know and love, however we have made some tweaks when it comes to our VITAMIN C and HYALURONIC ACID masks to make them vegan friendly.

You’ll have known them previously as our Brightening Collagen Sheet Mask and our Hyaluronic Acid Gold Foil Mask. We have now enhanced these formulas to bring you the very best potency and sustainability with the same skincare benefits you expect from these masks. These formulas are now 100% plant based and water free, using our bamboo fibre masks and bringing them in line with the BEAUTYPRO mission to reduce our impact on the environment while maximising on benefits for your skin.

Are all BEAUTYPRO masks now biodegradable?

No. Our full range is not yet biodegradable - while we aim to limit our impact on the planet, it has not been possible for us to transition our full range to biodegradable packaging in one go.

We will endeavour to continue making sustainable changes where possible when improving and expanding our range so this will be a continual process for our team. We hope to be able to transition our full range by 2026.

For now, our biodegradable facial sheet masks are: Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid, Retinol and our NEW Cica + Niacinamide.

Look out for the 100% biodegradable icon on our product pages and labelling on our sachets to be sure that you are choosing the right option for you.

...But the masks are still single use?

We know that people love sheet masks and the habits of the beauty audience are not changing away from sheet mask usage. We’re making a difference by offering a sustainable option that doesn’t compromise on results, price or ease of use. While it is still a single use plastic product, it will biodegrade and leave no microplastics behind making it a better choice for the planet than a regular sheet mask. Want to step away from single use? Opt for one of our serums to get all of the benefits of our natural formulas in a glass bottle.

Can one brand really make a difference?

We believe that every step towards a greener planet is a positive. While we might be an independent brand, we believe that by offering our customers an eco-friendly option we can do our bit to limit the impact we are having on the world.

By setting this example, we can also call on others in our industry to follow in our footsteps and do their bit. If everyone in the sheet mask sector made these changes, we could reduce our contribution to plastic pollution considerably.

It’s up to us and to you to demand change from them.

 

OUR PRODUCTS

Are BEAUTYPRO products vegetarian and vegan?

Yes, all BEAUTYPRO products are vegetarian.

Many of our masks and all of our serums are now vegan as certified by the Vegan Society. All vegan products are clearly labelled on their product pages to make it even easier to find the product that’s right for you.

Do BEAUTYPRO sheet masks expire?

All of our sheet masks are foil sealed and air tight with beyond 30 months expiration and therefore there are no legal requirements to have an expiration date on our products due to this directive.

Are BEAUTYPRO products free from parabens, mineral oils, sulphates and silicones?

All our products are free from parabens, mineral oils, sulphates and silicon.

Who can use a sheet mask or serum?

Our masks can be used by women and men of all ages however we also have a range of products aimed specifically at men which are available at www.barberpro.com

Sheet masks are suitable for all skin types, especially those needing to add more moisture to the skin as they encourage the ingredients to penetrate the skin more than clay or cream based face masks.

Are BEAUTYPRO products safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Yes you can use most of our masks when pregnant or breastfeeding. However, we do not recommend using our Foot & Callus Peel or the Retinol range.

When should I use a sheet mask, eye mask or serum in my routine?

We recommend using your sheet mask or serum after cleansing and before moisturiser. This ensures that the skin is clear from any impurities and the formula can effectively travel into the skin. A moisturiser can then be applied after if you wish to lock in the replenishing ingredients.

A skincare routine we’d recommend is:

Cleanse
Exfoliate (2-3 times per week)
Toner
Serum/Mask
Eye Care
Moisturise
SPF

How often should I use a sheet or eye mask?

It really all comes down to personal preference! You can use sheet and eye masks as often as you like - we have some customers who enjoy daily use, while others find a couple of times a week does the job.

We recommend using a mask at least once a week to keep your skin feeling and looking great.

Should I use a sheet mask in the morning or evening?

You can use a sheet mask at any point in the day and it will not impact the effectiveness of the mask.

You could use them in the morning as part of your routine before applying your makeup, providing a base of hydration for your skin. Masks that focus on hydrating are particularly good for use in the morning and masks that exfoliate and cleanse may be better in the evening to treat your skin after a long day.

Sheet masks are equally as effective in the evening where all the nutrients can really sink in while you are sleeping so it is mostly down to your routine and preference to see where they best fit in.

How do I know which formula is right for my skin?

On our website you can browse by ingredient, by product type and by skin type so it’s easy to find which masks are most suitable for you.

Of course you may just want to pamper your skin rather than treat a specific concern so trying a few masks to see which one you enjoy the most is another great way to find the best mask for you.

Is the Warming Eye Mask material recyclable or biodegradable?

The BeautyPro Warming Eye Mask is not recyclable but it is biodegradable. Place your used mask in your general waste and it will biodegrade.

Is the collagen in BEAUTYPRO eye masks vegan?

Our collagen is not from bovine or animal source, it is marine based, derived from seaweed extract and deep sea sources. However, we cannot guarantee that our products are vegan - unless they are present in our vegan skincare category.

Are peel off masks suitable for sensitive skin?

We would not recommend using a peel off mask on sensitive skin. This is because the formula could irritate the skin.

Can I use the foot peel if I have asthma?

In our Foot Peel advice, we state: Do not use if pregnant, diabetic, asthmatic, prone to eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis or other skin related issues.

We do have this precautionary measure as general sensitivity issues are linked to the skin, ie. Asthma linking to Eczema and Psoriasis.

We have this as precautionary advice, we have had no known reports or cases of anyone reacting to the product if they have Asthma. However, we do not recommend it for people with hypersensitive skin issues such as Eczema and Psoriasis.

The product has a high concentration of alcohol and acid that are naturally derived from sugar and fruit base so we always want to be transparent to our customers so that they can make a choice as to whether they feel it best suited to themselves.

YOUR ORDER

When will my order arrive?

We have two delivery options to choose from.

Our standard delivery with Royal Mail will be dispatched the next working day and we expect this to arrive with you 2-4 working days from dispatch. We offer this service free of charge when you spend over £30.

Our next day service is sent with DPD which will be delivered the next working day if ordered before 1pm Monday-Thursday.

It’s important to note that our warehouse is closed on the weekends and therefore any orders placed after 1pm on a Friday will not be shipped until Monday.

During busy periods, Royal Mail delivery may take longer than usual.

My order has not arrived yet

Standard Delivery

We usually expect orders sent with Standard delivery to arrive with you within 2-4 working days of dispatch, however this can sometimes take up to 10 days when Royal Mail are experiencing delays - especially during busy periods such as Christmas.

You will be provided with tracking for your order - however please note that this will only go live once your order is out for delivery.

If there have been any other non-delivery related delays to your order, this will be communicated to you by our team and you will be provided with an updated timeline.

If your order has not been received within 10 days of your order being placed, please check your order confirmation to ensure that the address that you have provided is correct and check the tracking link to see if delivery has been attempted.

If delivery has already been attempted, it’s likely that your parcel is at your local delivery office. You can download the Royal Mail app to book a redelivery or visit the depot to collect it. If you do not do this, your order will be returned to our warehouse.

If the tracking is showing that delivery has not been attempted and it has been 10 days since you placed your order or your delivery address is incorrect, then please contact us at [email protected] so that we can resolve this for you.

Next Day Delivery

Our next day service is sent with DPD which will be delivered the next working day if ordered before 1pm Monday-Thursday. If you have not received your order within this time frame, please check your order confirmation to ensure that the address that you have provided is correct, then contact us at [email protected] so that we can contact DPD.

If there have been any non-delivery related delays to your order, this will be communicated to you by our team and you will be provided with an updated timeline.

How do I claim my welcome discount?

You can claim a 15% welcome discount when you sign up to our email newsletter. Your discount code will arrive in your first email. If you have not received this, please check your junk folder.

You will only receive this email if you have not signed up in the past as this is a one time offer.

Your code should be entered at the checkout using all capital letters. It cannot be used in conjunction with other offers or on subscriptions.

My discount code is not working?

Your code should be entered at the checkout using all capital letters. You can only use one discount code at a time, they cannot be used in conjunction with other offers or on subscriptions.

Check the terms and conditions of the offer - is there a minimum spend that you have to reach to receive the discount or is the discount only available on certain products? These could both be reasons why a discount code isn’t working. Look at the email, social media post or on site location where you received the discount code to find out more information.

Check your discount code is in date - an expiry date will be present wherever you received your discount. If an expiry date is not stated, this code should always be valid until it has been used.

Make sure you haven’t already used the discount code - our codes are valid for one use per customer and then they will no longer work.

I wish to cancel my order

Please email us at [email protected] as soon as possible with the subject line: ‘Order Cancellation’ and your order number and our team will do their best to resolve this for you.

I wish to change my order

Please email us at [email protected] as soon as possible with the subject line: ‘Order Change’ and your order number and our team will do their best to resolve this for you. However, this will be dependent on the status of your order. If you have already received a shipping notification, changes are no longer possible.

My order is damaged or missing items?

Claims arising from damages or shortages must be reported to us within 24 hours of receipt of goods and followed in writing to [email protected] and by telephoning 01273 32 32 32 after this time period we will not be able to process a claim.

If you receive your package damaged then please refuse the products upon original delivery attempt and ask the delivery person to return the item to sender. If damaged products are accepted from the carrier, such damage should be noted on the carrier delivery record.

I wish to return my order

You can return it to us in its original condition within 14 days of the date of purchase, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) and we will issue a refund for the purchase price paid for the item excluding shipping costs.

Due to the nature of cosmetics products and in the interest of hygiene we cannot accept the return of opened or used items. We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective, incorrect or found to be opened or used in any way.

To ensure we process your return and refund as quickly as possible, please follow the procedure below.

Upon receipt and once inspected by BeautyPro Ltd. and if in a re-saleable condition we will issue a refund for the amount owed for the item less any delivery charges.

We do strongly recommend that all returns are packed well and sent via a recorded/tracked delivery service to ensure safe delivery. BeautyPro Ltd. cannot be held liable for lost returns.

Please allow up to 7 working days for action of your return.

USING BEAUTYPRO IN TREATMENTS

Can BEAUTYPRO sheet masks be used under a micro current as part of a non-surgical face lift treatment?

Yes. The micro current helps activate the ingredients and deliver them deeper into the Epidermis for increased results and performance of the product.

Can BEAUTYPRO Masks be used after dermablading?

Yes, we would recommend using our REJUVENATING mask which is enriched with Green Tea. The Green Tea extract will help to cool and calm the skin after the dermablading treatment.
